Dear Reg:

As we correspond MSFT is getting punished. As I understand the ruling it was that MSFT could not require the box makers to buy the browser. Now all of a sudden people are assuming that this means that MSFT will not be allowed to imbed the browser as a function of the new OS. Where does this hyperbole come from? Is there any truth to such a notion? If so it is a watershed for MSFT and would most likely result in a spin off. I can't see the government however being allowed by the high courts to design software! But that is only my opinion and it is the opinion of the lemmings that really matters. Those that rush to the sea at the drop of a penny in earnings. So all the erudition in your wonderful evaluation gets tossed out the window by the invisible hand of irrational perception. Additionally being a MAC owner I cannot avail myself of your great tools.

The point is that where I saw this as a narrow decision favoring MSFT the rest of the world sees it as an Armegeddon and infer that the decision was much broader. (See Max 90's note to me.). Therefore it really gets down to a matter of opinion and very little is based on the merits and so I hope your right that the earnings will be there.
Because they all don't invest the way you do. Also one cannot eat on buying alone- one must sell eventually. Further if you are so intrigued with cash generation and growth and reinvested capital why haven't I seen you over at the NXTL thread? Just a few thoughts.

Warmest regards and thanks for your reply,
