There is sure a lot of advertisments for refurbished zips. Now there is a rebate as well. I know KE said that returns were not high in past earning conf., but does anyone have thoughts on this or am I just worried because I have been beaten so badly in the past few days.

>>> Refurbished PP Zips avail. Computer City (Orlando) for $89-$20 rebate = $69 total price. Today's add, 12/12/97. <<<

Same thing ($89- $20 rebate) here in Chicago, except at CompUSA.

BTW, a friend bought one (refurb Zip) last weekend at Elek-Tek. The drive worked fine but the Zip disk that came with it was NOT blank. It was loaded with files, including the previous owner's resume and lots of JPEGs. My friend was not too happy.

Good luck
