blithely ignore every point made and change subjects you should be responding to..... In fact dear Blanche, if not deeply indulging in infantile rage meltdowns that seem to be a hapless addiction of yours, i was in fact directly responding to ja'ello head's comment here.

I don't hold with "creationism".....creationists do me no harm in espousing their beliefs....in the end....the truth will out. The marketplace of ideas will determine that truth.

Which my response found "the doofus king" & you choosing to ignore that radical creationists have in fact done much harm, the suicide attack on the Twin Towers in NYC a glaring instance. Just the facts sans bigotry, tap that empty wooden head three times blithely Blanche, you haven't the ability to follow along go sit in the corner of the hut & be silent.

"Well yes they actually do, 9/11 was a prime example of "creationists" doing much harm acting in accord with their beliefs in the will of god. We have an Iranian theocracy on the verge of arming themselves with enriched uranium & weaponizing. Then there's Pakistan which has one of the fastest growing nuclear arms stockpiles, so think twice about your statement. Usually our fleet of nuclear subs' instant response will act as a deterrent to any that decide to fire off one of those weapons but threat of being vaporized doesn't seem to discourage some creationists, as we've seen time & again."

You just rift away on your staggering historical, scientific and theological ignorance.....Now, now little Nanette, why would India's soon to be elected prime minister Modi's making a radical mention of "toilets before temples" enrage a space cadet creationist like you so?

Would not the consideration of providing basic sanitation, humanitarian living conditions and prevention of widescale disease be easily seen as one of the supreme acts of charity to the poor?

rift away on your staggering historical, scientific and theological ignorance.....As for theological, to what aspect do you refer? This Paul of Tarsus and this end-of-the-world, eternal life /love cult that started to be called "Christians" in the city of Ephesus?

There is so much, so little disguised that this chameleon born again apostle Paul stole from preexisting philosophies which the Hellenes had already fully and completely explored. The four natural aspects of "love" essentially defining what would be the underpinning Christian love/agape which was apparently so persuasive even a later Jesus subscribed to it.

The differences between monotheism which had begun to have a novel appeal & pantheism/polytheism is highly overrated, most all ancient religious enterprises had evolving constructs as well, while recognizing many distinct gods had begun themselves to postulate some underlying unity as far back as Egypt in the 12th century bc.

Moonbeams & love feasts....before there was the eucharist there was the early Christian communal agape "love feast".

By all means break out the sacred bread, wine & throw in a little feet washing to boot, talk of moonbeams. Gather all the other little moonbeams together to wonder whether this past year you've been naughty or nice before an imaginary deity.

Welcome to the early Christian agape or "love feast", little moonbeam:

After 3000-5000yrs of sustained warfares, rising & falling of kingdoms with endless tribal brutality & human subjugation, there would be a natural emergence of a more reflective philosophical mind as we began to see. They dreamed of peace, sought understanding, truth, justice, recognizing fair & equal treatment for lessor men, that respect & beneficial reciprocity.

Even the common man can eventually figure out that war begets war begets more war, this idea of "turning swords into plowshares" was probably an idea born in the mind of every farmer dating back to ancient Egypt, Summeria & Greece, just common wisdom, born of desparation, constant war but glimmers of hope.
