So 18% of INTC sales come from Asia to stuff boards that end up elsewhere and given that Asian sales are still growing, althought slower, that changes nothing. Even a whopping 30% decline in Asian orders (again, it's currently growing but at a slower pace, it isnt' declining even a fraction of one percent) then INTC sales would drop by maybe 5% in that area. This reminds me of doom and gloom stories swirling about CSCO when it was trading at $48 and the subsequent launch of the stock into the high $80s. BTW, INTC has to buy shares, too, and they have the same motivation as CSCO does for talking it down from time to time -- knowing that it's a temporary buying opportunity for them that will have zero impact in the long run.
