I would chuck out most of the laws, legalize drugs and tax them, eliminate most unions, introduce a flat rate sliding scale tax for individuals and corporations with no deductions, emphasise phonics and math in early education, increase military budget from 4.4% to 20% of the GDP, no pay tax no vote, open borders and let honest illegals in but regulate. We need to realize the worst enemy of the Republic is inspired bureaucrats who think they can solve any problem by printing more money.
