I agree that Jeb in the primaries will force a good and entertaining debate within the Rep party between the far right and moderate wings. I fear that Jeb will pander to the extremes just as Mitt did, and if he is elected his appointments to the bench will be more right than mainstream, leading to real, damaging long term impacts on the country. I think Bush senior's selection of moderate Souter was one of the reasons why the Reps didn't support him wholeheartedly for a second term. That lesson was not lost on W, and I'm pretty sure Jeb would follow the same justice course.
