You probably are a minority in terms of health insurance (if not a tiny one the way J_F_Shepard seems to think) . Most people want low deductible plans, and think first dollar plans would be even better.

Of course your point is about the definitions and facts of insurance not popularity of certain setups.

Also cost insulation is one of the factors driving the high and increasing price of health care.
