Just more evidence for what I've been saying so far, stock splits drive investment. No amount of arguing to the contrary will convince me otherwise, regardless of the number of studies or 40-year-old master's theses that say different.

Small investors, many who don't know better, think it's better to have 10 shares of a stock at $50 than have only one share at $500. So be it and more power to them, I'm only interested in what pushes the price upward. More people buying in certainly does that.

I'll again point to MSFT as an example. Please tell me how it would have risen 39,483% since inception to April 1, 2014 without all the stock splits, I'd really like to know.

Here's the answer: It wouldn't have.
