You need to learn to read, he hasn't had insurance since 2009 Dean Angstadt fells trees for a living. He's a self-employed, self-sufficient logger who has cleared his own path for most of his 57 years, never expecting help from anyone. And even though he'd been uninsured since 2009, he especially wanted nothing to do with the Affordable Care Act.

The article is very clear. It states that he has been uninsured since 2009. That would mean he had insurance prior to that or they would not have qualified when he started not having insurance coverage. Reread the article again and you will see that you are wrong. He's a self-employed, self-sufficient logger who has cleared his own path for most of his 57 years, never expecting help from anyone. And even though he'd been uninsured since 2009, he especially wanted nothing to do with the Affordable Care Act.
