Hey pat....I agree with your viewpoint. There is so much money (for lobyists) on both sides of the tax debate that nothing will likely be done. Recall some elections past when Steve Forbes ran for office on the idea of a flat tax.....well he got about 1% of the vote. And in the last election Herman Cain ran on his 9,9,9 tax plan...well he never got to the starting gate. We are doomed to the current policy until one party gets an over whelming majority in both houses and the Presidency. And this is not likely to happen.
