I guess William Calley would prefer people to have looked away from My Lai too. Or some of your Kiwis killing medical personnel and wounded soldiers... No one was EVER held to account for that.. At least Calley faced a court martial (though I don't believe he was punished sufficiently). nzherald.co.nz War is an ugly thing.. And for some reason, it's even uglier when Slavs are involved. The war between the USSR and Nazi Germany was one where no quarter was given to either side. Being taken prisoner was basically a delayed death sentence... So I'm pretty confident we should be prepared to hear about more atrocities, on both sides.. I hope he does the same in Ukraine, though that's a bigger handful to deal with. Obama, Kerry, Biden and co are encouraging carnage, preparatory to ramming NATO right into Moscow. Wow.. I'm just underwhelmed at how you advise one country to tear apart AND ANNEX the territory of another and you think that's okay... Maybe the next thing you'll give your approval to is genocide and ethnic cleansing.. After all, Putin needs "Lebensraum" for his young Russians, so they will stop applying for political asylum in other countries... Well.. Good enough for Russia, then good enough for Turkey, Israel, and any other country with a territorial dispute that dates back into the past.. Seems the UK can now basically annex all of it previous territories, if they care to.. (and have the ability).. We don't need collective self-defense like NATO.. Everyone for themselves, and on their own.. Don't even need a UN charter now.. We'll just lapse back to the multi-polar empire building world on the past.. Hawk
