Take logging for example, just the access roads every year in BC total over 20,000 kilometers. Then there are the clear cuts.

Well you guys up in B.C. have some pretty big clear cuts!

That got banned down here in Washington State many, many years ago.

I remember sailing up the east side of Texsada Island years ago on our way up to Desolation Sound and we saw this massive clear cut that went on for miles. We were all stunned!

The gal that was on vacation with us worked for the Washington State Department of Natural Resources specializing in forest management and she was shocked at the extent of the clear cut.

You guys do a pretty good job of raping the forests up there. No wonder the First Nations folks are upset!

But thanks for the "cheap" lumber products.

I just hope you save your "Old Growth" forests.

Without them the salmon are history..
