<<Off Topic>> Richard, it's well said about our difference in opinion. We are in agreement on most of the points you stated. The only ones I may disagree are,

+ The higher the risk, the higher the reward will be (Junk bonds have higher yield);

+ The goal for a educational trust fund is growth, unless you have put $1,000,000 to begin with, which most people don't. In order to grow nicely, you have to get a little aggresive sometimes. But the agressiveness has to be balanced with divesification, some certainty,etc. You may put part of your portfolio in bonds in addition to Depo or the type of "risky" stock.

In summary, our arguments is whether some person should buy Depo in his relative's educational trust fund. To be frankly, none of us can anser that question in a definite manner. But if it's for me, I would.

Good luck with Depo (me too)

<<*The goal for an educational trust fund is certainty
that money will be available for education not for attempts to
maximization wealth.>>

Excellent point. Thanks to all of you who responded to my request.
I'm in no rush on this account, with the Asian flu et. al. I'm
still also thinking for my own account. What does the thread expect
pricewise, if approval is given on the 18th.

By the way, I read a news release that said what time
on the 18th that DEPO would be reviewed - several others on that
day as well. If this information is not known to the thread and
you want it let me know and I'll post on Monday when I get to work
and can check my news source.
