In Texas, that 10% will amount to close to $3 Billion a year for a state that already runs a huge deficit. Some other states are as bad or worse. And the federal government does NOT pick up 90%. They pick up 90% of the BENEFITS. That's a different thing. Administrative costs are substantial and the federal government will not contribute a nickel to it. These are massive unfunded mandates that not a single state in the nation can afford. And that is before you count the additional debt future generations will absorb. These states that have jumped into this boondogle will be begging for bailouts before it is over with. >> And it would bring many jobs and money into the state. Stop with that nonsense. We have just come through six years of wild spending and unemployment remains at historically high rates. Remember, these douchebags were going to keep unemployment at 8% by blowing that trillion dollars. We got NOTHING for that. You cannot spend yourself into prosperity. We know that. No country in history has ever done it.
