I believed in this rule too but then back in the seventies, Harvard Business review had a few surveys to show that it is not so. I ran a study of my own and found at a place where I worked 20% of the customers accounted for some 54% of the sales.

I am only looking at this from my point of view. I don't think that's bad. If you try to satisfy everyone, you'll end up not satisfying anyone. Keep the 80% of the Market happy is very good in my book.
