Something worth noting about you b.o. is that when iomega was soaring you kept your tail under your legs. only when it's down you come to the thread with all sorts of weird stuff.

where will you be next when iomega soars back up again?

oh, and it will whether you like it or not.

oh, and we know the game you're playing here.

oh, and it will soar back up because you came back, thank you. :>))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

>>And NO, I don't believe that they're just counting zips sold. Their press announcements says 'shipped.'<<

BO, All -

Let's not get confused. The press releases are about Zips shipped. For accounting purposes, revenue is calculated based on sell-through.

By the way, it would certainly make sense to "stuff the channel" toward the end of October, since that's when retailers prepare for the holiday shopping season. Anything sinister about that?

>So now we have two people who agree that tie ratios are lowering.<

B.O. one thing you need to think about (I know its hard) is that Iomega is shifting to a concept of "effective tie-ratios". What? With the other producers of drives coming on-line to support the ever increasing volume of drives (yes it is increasing) and with Iomega remaining as the primary producer of disks, the tie rate of disks to Iomega produced drives will increase. This fact will increase Iomega's gross margin.

Really, B.O. you need to learn to think a problem through....
