The WH is a big building .... in addition to the lights, remember Obama likes to keep the temperature toasty.

I think its funny that W installed more than 5X as many solar panels as Carter. What happened to them? Did Obama trash them?

I wonder if it took you and Eric 6 yrs to install your solar panels once you decided to do it? I'll bet you guys were more competent than Obama.

Hi Wharf Rat; If the White House really wanted to save energy, instead of putting a couple of watts worth of photovoltaics on the roof, they'd simply have fewer vacations. Or better, cancel the billion dollar presidential helicopter project.
