In order to have a debate, we need to disagree about something. What the guy is doing is setting up a strawman argument. These are easy to win because you're not actually arguing against the other side's position. Let's go through the items you're quoting:

Global temperatures are rising; I agree.

Heat waves are becoming more common; I agree.

Sea surface temperatures are also rising; I agree.

Glaciers are melting; I agree.

Where we disagree is not on these very simple facts, but on details like "how much" and "for how long in the future" and "with what effect" and, to some extent, "what happened in the distant past", but most importantly, on "what should the politicians do now".
