John,

Would any OEM bundle IE if they weren't bundling Windows? Or, put it another way, would MS give away IE for 'free' if the OEM didn't buy Windows as well? Answers to this kind of question shed light on whether MS is tying IE and Windows ... which, of course, it is ... MSFT = $75!

I guess the bottom line here is what browser is better? The average person is going to ultimately use the better browser whether it is bundled or not.
