It amazes me how much you and I agree on most things. I have two teenage boys that I've said essentially the same things to - including the part about college.

The coming world will largely break down into two types of people: those who use evolving technology to enhance their productivity and those who are replaced by technology. I want my kids to be in the former group. But I gotta say that, as a classical liberal/libertarian I worry that the coming uncertainty that change will bring will lead voters to opt for more big government solutions. I don't think that will be a good thing - but time will tell
