I think you are spot on there Yeadon. Next stop 25-24, and probably Monday, after that a rally unless we have an ominous peep from the management, in which case 18 would be more like it.

I cannot predict a bottom in any of these stocks, but historically bottoms can go as low as 30% below book (book being a flexible concept).

Nonetheless, shorts must be eternally vigilent.

In checking Teradyne's annual report-- 50% of sales are international.Europe comprises 60% of that # , Japan approx 35% ,with the remaining 5% from other Asian Pacific countries. I believe this last number is what Ter investor relations dept was referring to when stating they had little exposure to the region.
Re the stock price-- whats next ? Just a few weeks ago this stock was touted at a buy at 50. At a recent semi conf in November only positive news about demand---keeping up with it was the only problem.
Being a bit margined I'm a little concernd about blowing past the mid 20's. A little stability here would be nice.
