couple things......first, if you want info about a company, sending an email is the WORST way to obtain it. the ease of sending an email is great but companies don't like to put things in writing so even if you get an answer it will be vague @ best. good company, bad co, one w/something to hide, one w/nothing to hide it doesn't matter-they don't like to put anything in writing for fear of litigation. this is the way it is so pick up the phone for your best shot.

i took a loss in this stock many months ago (in @ 16 out @ 12.5 i think). i'm looking again anticipating a better deal w/nortel and a surge (at least temporarily) in demand for concentrators now that the 56k standard fiasco is over. could mean some nice seq. revenue growth in calendar q1/q2. as i recall (i've yet to do my homework to catch up so i don't know for sure), mgmt was trying to bring expenses in line w/the lower revenues they have experienced. if so, a jump in revenues would flow nicely to the bottom line and bring the earnings momentum guys back sensing a turn-around.

like i said, this is based on my recollection from several months ago (in hindsight, i should have waited to make this post!!). i'll be talking w/shva next week.

any informed comments on the validity of my premise that we should see a surge in sales due to the 56k standard would be appreciated.

all imo only....nick
