Ask your great grandfather about the Depression Jim. My mother-in-law tells a story. At the time of the run on the banks she was a hard working young lady who had saved all of her money. She went to the bank and demanded her money and made sure she got it. That was in the days before deposit insurance. Her brother said to her "its people like you that are causing these problems." Yeah right. She later used that money to pay off the mortgage on her parents house during the Depression, and they didn't lose their home. So you stick to your philosophy, of being fully invested, which is probably balony put out to sucker other people reading these posts and you live with the consequences. But remember one thing young fella, you ain't had them whiskers for very long.
