I received an e-mail from the Fools today which basically said I didn't understand the article. They said that the analysts had been overly optimistic about revenue and Bay warned it would not meet those expectations. They obviously didn't understand my question. All I pointed out was that Bay had just reiterated that their guidance for the quarter was unchanged - no warning to my knowledge. Consequently, it doesn't look like they are going to correct the story. I've e-mailed them again, hoping to clarify my point, but they probably will ignore the issue at this point (asked them to point me to the source of the warning as well). Oh well, great to see how low the standards of research of fallen recently - just creates more opportunities to exploit!
