Greetings Stretch, and to all who love the Lord Jesus Christ. I welcome you to this thread. Points 1 through 4 are embraced by true disciples or christians of our Lord, however, regarding #5, have you yourself truly looked at what you are saying in the Light of both Old and New Covenants. Math.12:46-50. " While He was still speaking to the multitudes, behold His mother and brothers were standing outside, seeking to speak to Him. And someone said to Him, " Behold your mother and Your brothers are standing outside seeking to speak to You ".But He answered the one who was telling Him and said, Who is my mother and who are My brothers? ". And stretching out His hand toward His disciples, He said, " Behold, My mother and My brothers! ". " For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven, he is my brother and sister and mother. " I understand here Jesus is showing his disciples , that although he has a natural mother and brothers who wish to speak with Him, He is gently drawing attention to the fact that entrance into His Eternal Kingdom , which He will establish in the hearts of people beginning at His resurrection, will only be to those who have been " born-again " into His Kingdom by believing that Jesus is the Christ, the fullfillment of the promise made to Abraham in Gen12:1-3. Natural birth has absolutely no special privileges attached. This was not so with Israel up to the Cross of Christ, as they were the chosen nation. However after the cross, they must come as all other nations do, and that is by believing that Jesus Is the promised Messiah and Gods only means of Salvation. John 5:46-47."For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote of Me( Deut 18-15 ). But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words ?". Please consider prayerfully Phil what the Spirit would have you learn from this discourse of the Lord Jesus Christ. Grace and peace to you and the true Israel of God, His Body. Robert
