Ok Kirk, Your taking points have been repeated many times in some of your previous posts. What evidence is there that lowering the tax on repatriated cash would create any jobs? This assumption about job creation from repatriated cash is a giant leap in assumptions, that ius short on evidence.

Its most likely to go for corporate bonuses...and possibly some increased dividends. Neither being job creators,

Jobs have moved overseas for many reasons... the number one reason is lower wages. Many countries have underemployed researchers that are a bargain compared to US researchers.I have yet to hear any corporate noise about our corporate taxes being so high that a move overseas was necessary.

Every company that I follow from Apple to Xerox has plenty of cash on the books in the USA to create more jobs here. (If they chose to do so)

I think that its starting to dawn on some companies that if all manufacturing is done overseas.....then who will be left with sufficient income to buy their products. A prosperous middle class is needed......and its been cleaned out by shipping production overseas.

As in all things there is a herd mentality that is detrimental to all. Examples....1) Send your manufacturing to China or Bangladesh,.....Put as many employees as possible on part time to minimize labor costs,.....3) Get rid of company funded retirement and health care programs......4) Stash your spare cash overseas (and then bitch about the repatriation fees).

I have lived overseas (7 years total) for at least two years ...in three different countries....all three countries had non existent income taxes.......but I would gladly pay my fair share of taxes to live here. ( and not bitch about it)

OK Kirk...... Your points are sheltered in a lack of understanding the damage lost jobs have caused.

Your partisan comments about Bush this or that is partisan crap. This trend to move jobs out of the US has been RELENTLESS and it starts from places with high tax rates.
When this country was losing 700,000 jobs a month that is not partisan crap. Many of those 700,000 were also Republicans. Face up to the evidence.....The Bush tax cuts did not work. And there is no evidence to support the job creation that those tax cuts promised.

I do not consider any of your viewpoints "partisan crap"... You may be uninformed......and somewhat biased, but that could be because kool aid you are drinking.

What's with the personal attacks about Maxine Waters and Barney Frank? Is this your last resort, when you cannot substantiate or validate your far, far right viewpoints?

What's with this accusation about "wealth envy"???? I have no envy about other peoples wealth. Near as I can determine wealth brings on more problems, than solutions. As it has been said...the more things you own...the more things own you.

How about putting forth some hard evidence that repatriating cash would create jobs in this country, and not just line the pockets of corporate leaders. Quit the slogans.... bring out the evidence.

I would like you to quit the personal attacks.....if you would like me to not post on this thread just say so publicly and I will stop any posting on this thread.
