Google’s AdSense was the site’s primary source of revenue, giving them some leverage. So I set about looking for an alternative advertiser. Few people would have seen the post who hadn’t already read it anyway, since it had been pushed off the main page. The first step is to refuse to be intimidated by political correctness. The second step is to steer clear of aggressively left-wing companies like Google, which incidentally pulled their ads from Weasel Zippers, another conservative site that relied on AdSense as the primary funding source — supposedly for not publishing enough original content.
