One more thing; except for mms and wealthy naked shorters, shorts need to borrow stock from brokerage houses to short. Which means the brokerages have to have the stock certificates to lend.

If you want to make it more difficult for shorters to find stock to borrow, hold shares not in what is known as *street name*...instead, call them in and hold them personally in a fireproof safety box.

But should you sell or need to sell, you will need to get them to your broker within 3 days. I am not a broker, so ask your broker about the pros and cons of this to get more education.

Here's to a fabulous 1998 for all.

Anette

All excellent points Annette, but Lucky is attracted to gap-ups like a moth to a light bulb.He has a system that says all run-ups pull-back
10% most of the time.I do believe that it is vertically stretched to
a point where in most cases it would now pull-back and consolidate.
But all the points you raise could come into play--so I will simply
watch what happens and learn from it.Max
