TO ALL: If anyone is still following this thread, I just did some TA research on the NASDAQ index itself. Looking at the Fast Stochastics, there is a pretty clear pattern. When the FS hits bottom on the oversold side, the NASDAQ has a brief 30 - 60 point bounce for the next few sessions. This has happened several times in the past 3 months.

No guarantees but after last week's heavy selling, I wouldn't be surprised to see a small rebound Monday. Be careful, though - I still expect the overall trend to be down through December. Some short-term plays could be made. Watch the S&P futures and see how they are trading before the NASDAQ opens.

If you're looking for shorts - like me - don't short at the open. Wait for the tide to rise and look for your target to top out for the day. You may want to avoid any trades at all tomorrow until we see if a new short-term trend has formed.

I'm open to debate on this view. Good luck.
