"By "knowledgable investors", you mean people who trust their opinions over the objective statistical measures."

What do you mean by "objective statistical measures?" I am not aware of "objective statistical measures" that indicate Apple was fairly valued at sub $500. Any statistical measures (eg market share?) you put forth needs to be interpreted for their significance-- that is not "objective," by definition. And may I say, anyone who looks at the broader smartphone market share as a correlate to Apple's business prospects and therefore share price is getting it wrong and certainly not who I was referring to as a "knowledgable investor."
