Besides mastering a skill, there are real reasons to hunt with a hand gun. With a long gun, you are pretty much restricted to where you can go - taking a long gun into very rough country risk falling and/or smacking the gun and getting the scope out of alignment - which makes the gun useless. With a handgun you can carry it next to your body and have both hands free. You're really showing a lack of knowledge on this issue.
