OT Moon,

That makes me wonder 2 things. Did the Google people/person override the Nest team to put it back on the market? Probably. Are the Nest people now sorry they sold to Google? Other than the money part, probably.

I would be beyond upset if a product that I created was found to be defective and sold anyway without my having anyway of stopping it, especially when lives could potentially be at stake. Shameful.

OT Moon,

One other thing that appalls me is that as an owner of said Nest product I was never notified by Nest or Google. Were it not for news stories, actually only one that I saw, or chatter on CNBC I would have no idea that I had a defective product. I bought mine directly from Nest online. They have my physical address, my email address and my phone number. What's the problem? Oh right, I might return it and ask for my money back. We certainly wouldn't want that.
