Peter a friend of mine called yesterday to tell me, that he could'nt believe what was happening to jabil(note he does'nt own any).However he was at a road show a week or so ago and the guest speaker was the Pres. of solectron someone ask if Jabil was a competitor, he said no at this point we have no competiter's, we are either a primary or a non-primary suplier.He further stated the industry was entering the largest growth they have ever seen in 98-99 much bigger that 97 and that at present the emc's are only doing 10% of the work they will eventually be doing.Anyway we can see why slr is buying and building all those plant's all over the world,likewise is jabil with the low margin's these guy's make I hardly think the would build or buy with out contract's in place.patroller
