Lots of building blocks during the developer portion of the presentation. For once, I dont think it was hyperbole when Cook said this is the biggest update to the SDK since it was launched.

Wow, already 1.5 hours into the presentation, and only OS X and iOS have been talked about. If I were long, I'd be thrilled the stock is holding up this well. It's all about iOS vs Android these days, and without something that will boost that iOS share, it should be taken as a red flag.

Underwhelming. No wonder the stock is down. The icons, fonts and translucent stuff... that's how designers with no ideas try to wow customers. They've left glaring usability problems un-addressed. Changes are obviously oriented around laptops and smaller devices, not 27" iMacs. Mostly about Apple wanting you to buy in to other Apple devices, communications. Useful for some people not others. Some good do dads. Nothing much of interest for me as a consumer. More oriented to sales people, deal makers. HealthKit is a big deal. Watch is coming. Swift may be a big deal. Well it was the Developer conference. Hopefully good stuff for them.
