It doesn't matter what else was going on.

Do you agree it was the right thing for JFK to force integration using the military?

Two things which were different about racism in the north and south.

1) It was not institutionalized in the north.

2) African Americans did not have to fear for their lives in the north. the racism was pretty quiet.

There never should have been any segregation so any president who did not force integration has my ire.
