The democrats controlled congress when Carter was in office, right? Did they run $200 billion deficits when he was in office?

How come they suddenly wanted to SPEND so much when Reagan got there?

Same thing with Bush Jr. How come the deficits really JUMPED when he got into office even though Republicans controlled both houses of congress for several years while he was in office?
