Hi bentway; Re: "force gun owners to carry mandatory "gun ownership" insurance!"; I think this is a great idea. They should have the insurance before they buy the gun. That way it would be private enterprise looking at how risky someone is instead of the government. I think private enterprise could do it a lot better. Gun owners already have a thing related to this. To own a fully automatic weapon requires paying an expensive tax ($200). When the law began, that was a lot of money. Now not so much. Of course as soon as this passes the Democrats will suddenly realize that they just disarmed poor people, LOL. -- Carl
