No they didn't, but follow this logic. Starting tearing down equipment on 1 line (out of four) in Oct. Move to new plant and set up in Nov. Start production at new plant for start up in Nov. Run limited production at new plant, but enough to tweek equipment and get MCA inspections in Dec. Lost time 1/4 of all lines for 8-10 weeks plus 100% for 1 week during maintenence shutdown. They probably have lost a lot of efficiency due to the movement of personal, materials, etc .

Yes management made a blunder, I for one can see that they wanted to put some new equpment into the old plant, so they moved old equipment. They also knew how to make the old equipment work properly (second reason for moving it)

IMHO

<<Did they say anything about whether they continued production while removing the equipment.
If they had to shut down whole production, I will be relieved off many questions. (Explains 25% decrease in production.)
Any comments.>>

there are 4 lines of production in the old facility, if i remember correctly., One was moved, hence the 25% decrease; also affecting production numbers was a surprising decline in yields, hence the maintainence scheduled for dec.
