<<! They also admit this by emphasizing how important it is to get their demand stimulus program going again.>>

they never had even a single day of a "demand stimulus program" that was the whole point. MUSE became big in the marketplace without a single day of advertising.

! They also admit this by emphasizing how important it is to get their demand stimulus program going again.

<<.why are inventories building up if demand is strong and production has be radically decreased? Management did have an explanation for it...it remains to be fully answered.>>

management also addressed this in the CC; the inventory in the channel, and i emphasize, IN THE CHANNEL, went from 30 to 45 days because of higher than normal production from aug to oct;
VVUS inventories absolutely NO product; they SHIP everything they make.

Advertising has begun, remember from the call if you heard, they talked about advertising on the Howard Stern show. The main-stream-big-time-everyone-sees-and-buys-lots-of-MUSE advertising hasn't started yet. That does pose an interesting question though, why wait until Feb., why not Jan. or Dec.? I think a good reason could be to wait until Viagra comes out, then maybe they can do some competitive comparison advertising with Pfizer, thus creating more of an impact.
