-- Dr Mike -

-- You show amazing patience.

-- I think some of the posters on here are either shorting VVUS; or didn't listen to well to the CC.

-- Yields have been increasing all year. Hence, the increase to a 45 day supply of MUSE as of Oct 15th.

-- For others, why would VVUS be ramping up to 10 lines (8 at new & 2 at old) if this were all a scam?

Out.

<<VVUS inventories absolutely NO product; they SHIP everything they make.>>
Please bear with me as this is my first attempt at posting. I have real empathy with Linda Kaplan as I started buying Vivus at 30 and kept buying as the price dropped to 20. The news and related drop killed me.

I listened to the CC and it did not reassure me. Primarily because I didn't think that they "sounded" sincere and the answers "seemed" evasive. The reason for decline in revenues didn't strike an honest cord. They may not have any inventory and they may ship all they make but did production drop because they stopped making it because the orders from distrubutors had dropped becuse distributor inventory had increased to the 45 day level? Could this excuse of moving lines etc was a convenient way to cover this?
I could live with a drop in demand based on all of the future potential ( i.e advertising, UK approval, new plant, more sales staff) and it would have made more sense to me. If the real reason was a drop in production why wouldn't he tell us what the amount of the backorders are. That doesn't seem like any confidential information.

Doesn't any one on this thread live near this plant? or work for this company, or know anyone that works for the company?. It seems we are doing a lot of boosting each others spirits but not using the thread to gather and share hard information. I do know someone that works for the company and I will try to get some of his thoughts to share.

There was an earlier message from someone who did visit the new plant and I did not like it when he said that there was noone around at 5:30 pm except a couple of people in the hall who were not very friendly or helpful. Why aren't they working on this plant round the clock to get it ready for approval?. If they have a production line operating there why was the parking lot empty at that time? I was surprised that this post did not generate any response.

I am long and holding on with what I have left but I would appreciate any hard information about what is going on at this NJ facilities. If any one lives nearby, please do some legwork for us and let us know what you see.
thanks
