>> s. There are very few if any liberals on SI. You need to spend some time in SF or NY to know what true liberals look like.

I've spent far too much time in both places.

>> Case in point, its libertarians like Turley who have most demanded that Bush/Cheney get punished for war crimes. Well if you believe in the rule of law like Turley claims to, Bush/Cheney were within their rights to do what they did.

You obviously have a very confused view of both liberalism and libertarianism. And a confused view of where Turley stands.

>> I don't agree with your original premise that Obama is violating the Constitution. You keep making the complaint but there is little to substantiate it.

Obama, himself, said that what he is now doing as president was a violation of the Constitution when GWB was doing it to a lesser extent:

Ted, your position (and Obama's) is totally hypocritical. You can't get past that by just acting ignorant.

"We're not going to use signing statements as doing an end run around Congress." That is what Obama said. Yet, he has used and abused signing statements -- and has flatly stated that he plans to do more of it -- specifically as an end run around Congress.

Your position is indefensible on any rational grounds.
