Hi Kirk, The CPI is moving up sharply. Wage pressure in the West Coast has to be a factor. But in low wage state like MIssissippi ...its a non factor. I think that we are seeing a huge divide between states that care about wages and those that don't give a hoot. When some politicians talk about eliminating the minimum wage and cutting corporate taxes, you get a good idea what their priorities are.

Its good to see the West Coast become a trend setter and drag the rest of the country into a better orbit.

Low wages do nothing for the country or its inhabitants.....just look at low wage countries like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and see what low wages do to a country.

I think food inflation is much higher than the CPI suggests. Used to be that grocery stores raised prices a penny at a time....now the increases are dimes and quarters.
