"IMHO the total charge of almost nine million will kill the stock."
I strongly disagree!! Mytec is pooling their losses in this fourth quarter. Yes the stock will drop and YES IT'S BUYING TIME!! The 1st quarter of 1998 will now look much better since 9 million in expenses are all dumped this month.
As for your "Shareholders Action Committee," forget it. It's called capitalism. If you want your $ back, buy more stock before the end of the year. Counterforce has got to be worth at least a buck forty-two on its own.
Thanks,
Paul
P.S. Thanks for your previous posts.

It is my understanding that the $9,000,000 hit on earnings will have no effect whatsoever on cash flow, hence the strong cash position of the company. It is simply a restatement of the intangible assigned asset value, on the balance sheet, of Mytec's upcoming new technologies. Sounds like the new Management is being alot more realistic about future prospects, competition, etc. Regards.

Antonio have you seen the news release dated December 12 1997. It states that Mytec is going to do a one time charge of 8.4 million.

I have not been able to locate the news artical on the net yet. When I do I will post it.
