Powell lost ALL respect I had for him after he got up there and told the world that Saddam had those mobile labs and missiles. I KNEW that was absurd by that time. What's amazing to me is that I knew it but others actually believed it. At least they "said" they believed it even though it wasn't believable.

The Bushies used Powell to lend credibility to their lies. Which he quite willing did. Now he claims HE was lied to and manipulated. I believe he's way too smart for that to be the case. He is, in my opinion, a truly great man -- although I lost a some respect for him after he supported Obama for a second term, Truly great man? LOL! How anyone who supported Obama TWICE can still say he is a Republican is beyond credibility. If you can not support MODERATE Republicans like McCain or Romney, you are simply not a Republican. The man is a has been and knows if he switched parties, that would be the end of his frequent guest appearances, speaking engagements, and being a sought after general stooge for the Democrats. He has been an opportunist throughout his career and hardy qualifies as a "great man". Just listen to the garbage he routinely spews these days about the Republicans.......pure nonsense and a joke in any comparison to the Democrats.
