The VAIO laptops are really impressive and you are getting a brand-name, fully-supported product. I know an test equipment manufacturer which chose those laptops for all of its field reps and they use some pretty unconventional adapter cards. The attention to design really shows through on those VAIOs.

Randy,

Glad to hear things finally worked out. Buying a notebook can be a trying and expensive ordeal. As much as the premium is for portablility, you want to make sure and get a system you are satisfied with. Personally, I couldn't live without my notebook.
