Walt - the problem here is that the previous 1.1 meter of 22% metal also said massive sulphides, and the trained geologists of Teck would have known without a doubt that this latest massive sulphides wasn't going to assay 22% metal. So this is an issue of credibility for Teck/Donner to report in this sequence using this terminology and a surveillance credibility for letting the stock trade again.

There had obviously been a leak of the intersection and the VSE surveillance could have very easily said to Donner as follows:

Since there has been a leak as evidenced by the stock activities and an Internet posting which didn't happen until after the market closed but could have been assumed to have been known by the Internet poster before the market closed, and since you can't control leaks, lets leave the stock halted until the assay is out. There wouldn't have been a big runup where some made lots of bucks and others not so lucky, and the brokerages houses made lots of commissions that shouldn't have happened.

If you remember a while back, while Tech/Donner were making their presentations at the Royal York, we found out a month later that they were both dumping significant amounts of shares on the market. It will be interesting to monitor the insider trading report on this past week.
