Sorry, I did not hear the first caller today. Only caught a portion of his broadcast. You are right, he shouldn't have avoided the caller's question on Utek. Did you notice in his current newsletter that he didn't address Utek other than to list them in his individual stock table? I thought he would have some additional update considering the state of the tech sector. Well, time will tell how this plays out.

Greg: Later in his broadcast he talked about UTEK at least twice and
his advise has not changed. He thinks the valuations in the group are
great and he talked about UTEK's low SEA exposure. He did say that the
next few weeks may see some tax selling and it may take a while for the
equipment makers to come back, but a year from now we would all have a
smile on our faces. I hope so. He said that if the tax sellers where
willing to give the shares away he was willing to buy them or words to
that effect.
I plan to buy 2,000 shares of UTEK in a nontaxable account and
then sell 2,000 in my taxable account. With the proceeds and some
I think I'll take some advice from Justa and others and buy SVGI and
SFAM in that account. Trying to make the best of a terrible week and
maybe offset some other gains.

Good Luck

Greg,

I heard the first caller and was also surprised by Bob's quick
response. As for my take, I thought the callers question was a good question but the delivery had an aggressive tint or tone to it. In other words, it is my opinion that Bob's response was somewhat abrupt due to the way the question came across. However, even with this in mind, I, like you, would expect Bob to answer the question throughly rather than cutting the call short. Your comment about an "ego play" could be correct.

I considered calling Bob's show from my vehicle in hopes of reaching Bob and asking him another similar question. But, on the other hand, I'm in this stock for the long term so I'm riding this one out. In fact, I may pick up more and bring my average price down even more tomorrow or I might average down in December as suggested in another post.
