Robert, how old is that cdma stuff about degradation? I know there were concerns in the early days about CDMA's capacity with a large mass of users, mainly because the technology had been tested only in small beta tests.

Be careful what you say about CDMA. Unless you want to incur George Gilder's wrath. :-)))

You're right about one thing: The key to NXTL's success is direct connect, not whether it's cdma or tdma.

PS I don't understand all that slot stuff. Remember, I'm a simple guy eating quiche and sushi out here in goofy California. Make it real simple for me: How many 6:1 calls can one cell site handle simultaneously? How about 3:1? Half that amount? And what happens when you get close to the theortical capacity limits?
