Hi Bulba,

I don't know whether Lundbeck has completed a tender offer to buyout all CHTP shares or not. What are we going to do with the cash and the CVR of $1.50 per share?

finance.yahoo.com

Are you going to relocate the cash from the proceeds to the remaining portfolio stocks or the portfolio owner(s) have a choice to move into a different stock?

Thanks!

7/4/14 Contest update
Elimination of the U.S. team from the World Cup didn’t dampen investors’ enthusiasm for U.S. stocks, with the Dow crossing the 17,000 milestone. Goal!!!
At the week’s close (Thursday in the U.S.), the Contest median was up 11.85% YTD (vs. up 11.95% YTD a week ago), while the Nasdaq Biotech Index was up 17.30% YTD (vs. up 13.21% YTD a week ago) and the Nasdaq Composite Index was up 7.41% YTD (vs. up 5.30% YTD a week ago).
DEWDIL’s portfolio, up 64.95% YTD, remained our Contest leader, barely nosing out second place DOUGH’s portfolio, up 64.56% YTD. MCBIO’s portfolio, up 52.32% YTD, held on to third place.
At Friday's close, 35 of the 46 Contest portfolios were in the black, while 18 of the 46 were beating the NBI. The median Contest portfolio stock (SPPI) is up .56% YTD.
Below is the Top Ten list. Also below are the Top 5 & Bottom 5 Stocks ranked by % Gained and % Lost for the week. (Prices not converted to US$ in these Tables.)
Portfolio adjustments:
1) SUMM.L had 1-20 reverse split
2) Reallocated proceeds of CHTP buyout. To calculate reallocation, I used 6/23/14 close for CHTP price & 6/27/14 close for other portfolio stocks.
(All corrections, especially adjustments for splits, greatly appreciated.)
Have a safe & fun Independence Day weekend biotechies!
Peace & good health,
Bulba
