I think we lose the senate and as you say, no chance for the house until 2020. Obama's second most important job after the economy in 08 was to build a power house of a democratic party. He chose to not do that, and disbanded his army in 08 and instead liked to go it alone, more or less. With a tight inner circle. We dems were sort of rudderless and disillusioned in 08/09 and 010. That hurt us even more in 2010 and why we lost sooooo bad and got so out gerrymandered. We lose the senate in 2014. Obama has to veto right and left until he leaves. We win the senate back in 2016 and hopefully the presidency, but we have no bench (maybe Castro brothers?) if Hillary is too sick to run. Scary.
